Today I have just a quick post about my lovely new spring dress, which I debuted back in February.
Isaac Mizrahi Dress
This dress as I mentioned in my February Vintage Finds video, I thrifted for only $6 dollars.
It isnβt vintage, in fact it is a Isaac Mizrahi Dress. Issac Mizrahi is an American fashion designer is best known for his eponymous fashion lines which had been a staple at Target department stores until a few years ago.
Mizrahiβs style always seemed to include a lot of floral prints and this dress is adorned with lovely flowers.
Vintage Flare
While this may be a modern dress it definitely has vintage flare.
I personally think the pleats on the skirt is what really gives this dress a vintage look. The pleats combined with the floral print lining up in long columns make this dress look like it was from decades past.
I also love the bright and cheery with all the yellows, reds and oranges colors.
The bodice top has two straps, which give it a fun picnic look. It was a little chilly and very windy the day I took these photos so I opted to wear the dress with a bolero.
Every time I wear it I get lots of compliments and well, it just makes me happy to wear. I just love it!
