Sopapilla really make the meal authentic

Making traditional sopapillas can be a little time consuming because the dough needs time to rise.

However, I’ve found a quick and easy recipe that calls for the use of everyone’s holiday favorite, crescent rolls.

A little honey topping and you’re good to go

What’s great about this recipe is the use of Crescent roll dough, I always have a can in my fridge, meaning I could make these tasty treats whenever I get the urge.

You can go the traditional route and top your sopapillas with honey, or you could always go for a scope of vanilla ice cream.
