Hello All, I’m back with another Vintage Finds (haul) post for you guys. Last month was so crazy, that I never got around to doing a Vintage Finds video. So, in today’s post I’ll be sharing both my finds for May and June 2016.
Like I said, May was a super busy month topped with me injuring myself playing hula hoop, things got a little crazy.
Vintage Roaming
Still I did manage to do some vintage shopping. I stopped by Peddler’s Junction in Crestline, KS on the way to Pittsburg, KS, a few weekends back. I also went to the Fur Shop Rocking Rummage Sale in Tulsa, the weekend before Memorial Day.
June has been just as busy as May but I’m hoping things will slow down after the Fourth of July. Since I’ve been so busy I only had one real weekend of vintage shopping in June, which we went to Southside Antiques and Rangeline Antique Mall in Joplin, MO. The following weekend by sheer chance we stumbled onto an Estate Sale in Glenpool, OK and found all sorts of goodies.
Such fabulous finds! The Hawaiian Princess doll is turn-your-knees-to-jelly adorable. Congrats on all of these wonderful vintage items.
xoxo ♥ Jessica
Thank you Miss Jessica,
I feel exactly the same way about the Hawaiian Princess doll, can’t wait to put her together 😉
OMG That Hawaiian Princess doll. And great patterns — I never have any luck finding, maybe I should scout antique stores for them rather than thrift shops!
Antique stores and vintage fairs/events are also a good place to find vintage patterns. I also suggest checking out garage sales and estate sales, as they sometimes will have both patterns and fabric.
