Last week or so Modcloth was having this great summer clearance sale. Since it was so close to my birthday I thought I’d get myself a few gifts.
I ended up getting not one but two Va Va Voluminous Petticoats for only $17.99. This was a steal since they are regularly $59.99.
One was in pink the other baby blue. Since they were on a close out sale, the only sizes left was a size 3 for the pink one and a size 2 for the blue one.
According to the size chart, size 2 was comparable to a size between XL to 1XL, while size three was more like 2XL. At first I was worried these would swallow me but I read some of the reviews.
Apparently there is an adjustable waist and well Modcloth clothes tend to run small anyways, so took a chance and order them.
I’m so glad I did! I really love how they look and feel. Unfortunately I don’t have many skirts full enough for these very Voluminous petticoats. This means I need to get to work making some circle skirts to go with them.
