Modcloth’s Office to Outing Dress

Alas as we come to the end of March the weather turned cold. The late night, early morning temperatures have been freezing or just below. There was frost on my car a few days ago and the temperature has only reached high 50’s.

While I hear warmer weather is scheduled this week, I took the opportunity these past chilly days to wear my Modcloth Office to Outing Dress.

One of the last after Christmas sale purchases I made at Modcloth was this burgundy Office to Outing Dress.

This ModCloth– exclusive dress is perfect to wear to the office and date night.

The dress features a black Peter Pan style collar and A-line skirt, which I think gives it such a retro classic look.

Made from polyester and spandex the dress is super comfy. It has longer sleeves and the fabric weight is pretty good, making it a perfect autumn or chilly spring dress.

Accessorizing with Hats

I don’t have a lot of burgundy outfits in my closet however I have two or three burgundy colored hats.

I decided to pair this dress with one of these hats. This one in particular is a bucket style and features lovely flowers.

Speaking of hats I also wore choose to wear my hat brooch on the collar of the dress. This gives it a little interest.
