Where are my May Flowers?

You’ve probably heard the saying “April showers bring May flowers”, well where are my flowers, gosh darn.

It’s already the end of the second full week in May and all we’ve had are storms, and I don’t just mean the weather.

This month has been full of uncertainties, that has me and the hubby really stressed out. Mind you with these uncertainties, comes possible opportunities. However, it’s the hurry up and wait process that is making us sick.

Not to mention we really have had some stormy weather. It’s rained at least four out of seven days in the past two weeks, meaning I haven’t had a chance to work in the garden.

Though where there’s a gray cloud there is often a silver lining. The rain has given me the opportunity to finish some sewing projects that needed hand sewing done. I’ve also been working on a new web project to highlight all my design work.

Best of all I have a super cool giveaway I will be announcing on Monday so please stay tuned!

While May hasn’t exactly started the way I had hoped there is definitely the possibility for some good to come out of all this, I just hate waiting.

  • I’m hoping those grey skies turn blue for you soon lovely lady.

It’s funny, I’d never heard the saying ‘April showers bring May flowers’ until watching an episode of Jimmy Fallon on YouTube the other day. Granted, we get colder going from April to May so there’s not too many gorgeous blooms around like what you ought to be having right now. Hopefully things start turning around with your circumstances *hugs*

    • Thank you Hollie. So far it looks like more rain and flash floods are in store for us, but I’m sure they won’t last long. Hope your coming autumn is brings you good times πŸ™‚
