After a long Thanksgiving break, I thought I’d share my upcoming holiday plans while #unboxing my #KBPatternSwap Christmas edition and talk all about the “Sew this is #Vlogmas” tour.
Unboxing the KBPattern Swap
Technically speaking I’m really supposed to be waiting until Christmas to open my Kittenish Behaviour Pattern Swap Christmas edition. However, since I’ve been feeling rather puny and needed a pick me up I figured I would go for it.
This time around I got paired with the lovely Sarah Trillow in the UK. I absolutely love the vintage silk scarf she gifted me and of course, the Kew Dress from Nina Lee has been on my wish list for a while.
Of course, the real fun of taking part in this swap is the gifting and I hope that Sara enjoys the package I bundled for her.
Holiday Plans
As the title suggests I also wanted to jump on and share a few holiday plans. While work keeps me pretty busy I really am hoping to get all my Christmas presents sewn up early.
I have several purses that I’m working on for all the lovely ladies in my family. This year I’m also hoping to sew up a present for my hubby. This past summer I made him two pairs of shorts, which was the first time I ever sewed anything for him. So, I have plans for a super cozy sweater for him. I hope I get it done in time.
Aside from Christmas sewing, I have a lot of UFO projects I want to wrap up before the end of the year. I don’t know if I’ll get them all done but I really am hoping for the best.
So that’s just a quick look at what my holiday plans are as far as sewing. I’d love to know in the comments, what you have planed?
