Now that October is finally behind use we begin the Thanksgiving countdown; in which we prep and plan the perfect holiday menu and gathering.
To some Thanksgiving is a hurry up and wait for holiday. Thinking of it as a less than glamorous time we must get past in order to move on to the Christmas holiday season. In my family Thanksgiving has always been a big family event with lots of food. There is also a nice festive feeling of warmth around the month. The November feeling is not the same as in December but a special time of anticipation and warming of the home.
I probably won’t be hosting any big Thanksgiving gatherings since I’ve been so sick this semester. However, I do plan to have a nice family dinner for me and my hubby as well as decorate for the season.
To ensure that everything gets done and that Thanksgiving runs smoothly I plan to follow some popular planning checklists.
I’ve created a new Pintrest board that has a collection of Thanksgiving checklists that I hope all of you will find helpful.
