Starting a Charming Year

Happy New Year everyone!

Can you believe it’s already 2015? I haven’t seen a single flying delorean or hover boards, but it’s still early in the year, maybe we still will, or the very least Jaws in 3D.

All nerdy, sci-fi humor aside, I’m really looking forward to 2015.

I’m hoping to finish (some of) my home remodel projects. My niece turns a year old at the end of the month. There’s the Go Blog Social Workshop in February and Conference in April. Then there’s the G3 Expo I coordinate in March and that’s just the first few months. I have much, much more planned for the year I just can’t wait.

One thing I’m hoping to do this year is to write my first novel. I posted chapter 1 just yesterday, I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it. Expect a new chapter or two each month.

This year I’ve also decided to make some healthy life style changes. While, I debated about making weight loss and healthy eating resolutions, I recently read a book entitled “Better than Beauty, A Guide to Charm”. That’s when it dawned on me instead of failing at dieting as I do nearly ever year, I would aim at becoming Charming.

With that said, I hope you join me in a monthly journey in becoming Charming, which might also actually achieve my other goals of weight loss and healthy living, without me even knowing it.

Like I’ve said, I’ve got big plans for 2015 and can’t wait to share them with you. Here’s to a new and “charming” year!

  • Oooh, how I massively hope that it will be! For a long time, as 2014 dwindled down, I couldn’t get a strong read on this year (not, of course, objectively, that any of us really know how it will play out until it actually has come to be), but now that we’re into it, I have a really positive feeling about 2015.

I sense it will be a year of a lot of hard work, but also plenty of positives, happy surprises, and unexpectedly charming events/opportunities.

Here’s to the hope that it rocks on every front for both of us, sweet gal!
