I’ve been working on an updated look for the site. It’s not fully done yet, but here’s the just of it. The footer has a image of me drawn in Pucca style. I did the entire background and images using Flash. I hope everyone likes it.
One of the reasons I’ve updated the site is because I wanted more of a vector look for the site. Vector artwork on websites is very popular. Vector artwork typically has clean lines, bold colors and looks very smooth. Vector artwork is als versatile since it’s scalable, you only need to draw something once and can use the same image on your billboard, website and business card.
The top vector illustration software is typically Adobe illustrator, however I use Adobe Flash. Flash is primarily for animations, but I like the drawing tools in flash more so than in Illustrator.
