The holidays are a busy time of year and it’s easy to get behind with everything that you have going on.
So, when you suddenly realize that you were in charge of bringing the dessert to the holiday get together, don’t sweat it! This super easy Eggnog pie recipe is one you can whip up in no time and still wow friends and relatives.
No-Bake Eggnog Pie
Eggnog is traditionally made with milk, cream, sugar, whipped egg whites and egg yolks combined to make a rich, chilled, sweetened, creamy dairy-based beverage.
Since it’s introduction to the States in the 1700’s eggnog has become a holiday favorite being served from Thanksgiving to the Christmas holiday.
If you are a fan of eggnog then you’ll love this quickie bake, no-bake eggnog pie.
This recipe literally takes like 4 ingredients, it’s so easy you won’t believe it.
- 2 cups of eggnog
- 1- 4 serving pkg. vanilla pudding
- 1 - 8 oz tub of cool whip
- 1 graham cracker crust
- In a large mixing bowl combine pudding and eggnog.
- Fold in cool whip to pudding eggnog mixture
- Pour pudding filling into graham cracker crust.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
- Garnish with a sprinkling of cinnamon and top with Cool Whip
Wow Without the Effort
While this pie takes almost no time what so ever to whip up it still has a bit of a wow factor. Every time I make this pie I get asked the recipe and when I share people are shocked.
The eggnog flavor is so rich and creamy that it seems as if this pie took much more effort than it did to make.
As with the eggnog beverage, I like to top my eggnog pie with a sprinkling of cinnamon and a scoop of Cool Whip.
