The holiday season is a busy time of the year so it’s easy to forget to pick up some cookies to leave out for Santa.
Don’t worry, with a few ingredients you can whip up the moistest sugar cookies you’ve ever eaten.
Cake Mix Sugar Cookies
As the name implies these sugar cookies are made using a cake mix and take no time make.
All you need is a cake mix, egg, water and oil and voila, you have sugar cookies.
what’s great about these cookies is that you don’t need to refrigerate, roll out and cut out.
Just scoop out on to a baking dish and bake.
- 1 boxed cake mix
- 1egg
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix ingredients in blender.
- Scoop dough using 1-1/2 inch cookie scoop on to parchment lined baking sheet.
- For classic sugra cookie sprinkle with sugar before baking.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Remove cookie from sheet and let cookie cool.
Classic Sugar Cookies
For a classic sugar cookie, you can simply sprinkle sugar on the cookies before baking and you are done.
Serve with a side of warm cocoa and these cookies will put anyone in the holiday mood.
Frosted Holiday Sugar Cookies
If you want to add an extra holiday feel to your sugar cookies then top them with a royal frosting and perhaps even some festive holiday sprinkles.

Whether you choose to go the simple sugar route or top with frosting these cookies are so good.
Best of all they don’t take much time to make and even less time to be devoured.
