I don’t know why this has taken me so long to share, but I’ve been living in what I’m calling the perfect autumn outfit.
If you may recall in one of my plans video I shared some fabric I bought which turned out to be a UFO wrap skirt. So, instead of chopping up the fabric I figured I would just finish the wrap skirt.
The autumn colored flowers on the navy background, is what really drew me to this fabric in the first place. I’m so happy that the skirt actually fit my waist. It’s probably a little small, but since it’s a wrap skirt it isn’t a big deal.
The only thing missing from this skirt was the bias tape finishing and the tie straps. So, this took less than an hour.
Once I had the skirt I decided I wanted to make a top to go with it. Since making my pumpkin dress, I’ve wanting to make another Freya top from the Tilly & The Button Stretch book.

As it turns out not only does the outfit look great, but I had some perfect accessories to go with it. One of my recent purse purchases, this denim beaded purse, matches so well, along with a cinnamon felt vintage hat.
I’ve worn this outfit so much this past month that I’m going to miss wearing it as we move into the winter season.
