A Month of Love

One month down, eleven to go. Wow it seems that 2015 is moving fast.

With that said February will most likely be gone in a blink of the eye, with everything I already have booked on my calendar. I’ll be taking students on a field trip to Missouri, there’s the AAF Design Awards, Go Blog Social Workshop, Introduce a Girl to Engineering day and there’s the G3 Expo on going coordination.

I’m hoping that somewhere in the midst of this month I’ll find time for sleep and maybe love. Now I’m not saying love in a romantic way, though that is nice too.

January is all about assessing the past and what you want for the future, getting rid of things you don’t love any more. While February is about embracing and doing the things you do love.

With that said I’m hoping to make February a month of love, by doing more things I love.

My goal is to get more sewing done, work on that ideal wardrobe with the #WAChallenge2015, spend more time with my hubby and to set time aside for myself to relax.

With a busy schedule it’s hard for me to really set time aside for myself.  Jessica of Chronically Vintage had a great post a few month ago about owning your own time. The article really hit home as I tend to really spread myself too thin and end up sacrificing things I love doing the most. So, as I said before I’m making February a month of love to make time to do the things I love and to spend time with the people I love.

Will I accomplish this? I’m not sure but that is my goal anyways.
Here’s hoping your February is a month of love as well.
