Holiday Dress For the Little Red Dress Project

In my winter sewing plans, I mentioned I would be taking part in The Little Red Dress Project again this year. While it may be little late here is my big reveal.

Vintage Shirtdress

For this project I decided early on that I would make the  Vintage Shirt Dress by Sew Over It using a lovely red cotton with white hearts and bows.

This fabric and pattern were the perfect pairings

2018 Year of the Vintage Shirtdress

I love this pattern so much I can already foresee making many more vintage shirtdress in 2018.

In fact, I’ve already been going through my fabric stash and picking out the perfect prints for more vintage shirtdresses.

This dress is so me

I just can’t believe that I hadn’t made this dress before, it’s so my style. I love the gathers at the shoulders and the puff sleeves it’s just perfect.

This dress is not only a great holiday dress it’s a great everyday dress and I plan to get a lot of wear out of it.

If you took part in the Little Red Dress project I’d love to hear in the comments below what you made.
