Now for October eves...a few noteworthy reasons I’m excited for October.

The Wind is Rising

The time has come, yes in great anticipation it is finally, OCTOBER!!!

October is my favorite month and this year even more so. Starting with October 7th being my wedding anniversary. I can’t imagine life without my hubby dumpling darling 😉  This year is our 10 year anniversary and it is just crazy to think it’s been that long. It doesn’t seem like that long and at the same time not nearly long enough.

Following my anniversary is my birthday on October 13. Not sure what we have planned for it yet, but I did get a free pass to the Tulsa Raceway for that weekend. So, we may be off to racetracks. If you didn’t know I’m a bit of a gearhead and enjoying car racing. One day I’d like to do some racing myself , but for right now I’ll stick with go-cart racing.

“Listen! The wind is rising, and the air is wild with leaves, We have had our summer evenings, now for October eves!”

Finally October wraps up with Halloween!! This month as promised, I’ll be wrapping up the month with a special Halloween episode debuting my costume and how I made it.

So, if you haven’t already, it’s time to put up the Halloween decor, enjoy some pumpkin spice flavoring, pull out your favorite Halloween movies and stock up on Halloween candy!

Wishing the most amazing October for every ghost and ghoul out there 😉

  • October 7 must just be “the day” or something. My birthday is October 7, and my best friends parent’s wedding anniversary is that day too! So, I am in total agreement- October is my favourite month too 🙂 Hope yours is a good one.

    • Nicole I have to agree with you. I know like two other people getting married this year on October 7th, it’s weird. I think October must be like wedding time in Autumn like June is in Summer. Glad to hear your another October lover. Hope yours is good too 😉
